Shawn Corey Carter, known professionally as JAY-Z, is an American rapper and businessman has released yet another mini-documentry for his new album 4:44.
In this mini-documentry Jay-Z makes a possible confession about his rumoured infidelity, that his wife Beyoncé had poured her rage about in her album “Lemonade”. This mini-documentry is titled “Footnotes for 4:44”.
Its an 11 minutes video which features interviews with Will Smith, Chris Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Aziz Ansari, Chris Paul, Mahershala Ali and Jesse Williams which they all talked about relationships with women in a very revealing conversation.
“This is my real life. I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth and it starts cracking. Things start happening that the public can see,” JAY-Z explained about his marriage.
Adding, “Then we had to get to a point of, ‘Okay, tear this down and let’s start from the beginning … It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he continued.
The 47-year-old rapper also admitted he got to the stage where fighting for his relationship was more challenging that what he went through during his childhood in Marcy Projects and being shot at.
“What is happening to my body right now? Did I just say … ‘Don’t leave’? All this is new for me,” he said, recalling a vacation with Beyoncé during which he begged his wife not to leave.
The rapper who just received his twins making him the father of three had previously released a video titled “Footnotes for The Story of O.J.” which main focus was on the experience of blacks in America.
