Davido has given a reply to a Twitter user by the handle @SkweiRd who threw shades at the singer for not honouring a promise he made to another Twitter user by the name David Adeleke,whose name is the same with the singer.

David Adeleke took to his Twitter some days ago to seek help from his followers to assist him in meeting up with the  financial requirements to attend a media workshop in Yale University. Davido had quoted the tweet and said; “We get the same name, I no get choice lol DM me”.
Davido had replied the guys tweet as at May 9, 2017 and David had also tweeted that he hadn’t received the money as at  Friday May 26, 2017. But fortunately for David Adeleke he was able to meet up the financial requirements througt the help of other people who had helped  him raise the amount required before the deadline.

Davido responded to @SkweiRd who made a tweet thread out of the whole issue mostly because Davido had pledged to assist a little fan in his education. Davido wrote: “Yea I sent a wire yesterday from my American account which will reach him on Monday it’s an international transfer so you wouldn’t understand”.
